Do you run your business from your garage?
-No, we have a manufacturing plant with full-time workers, forklifts, trucks, trailers, saws, and an office. We started out over 7 years ago in our screen house along the Chippewa River. It wasn’t big and it gets very cold in Wisconsin so we had limit manufacturing capabilities. Then we moved into town so we could have a large unfinished basement where we could set-up shop and be out of the elements. We started out with this website that is still part of the North Rustic Design webstore family www.cedar-box.com
If you build it will they come?
-Well it depends. We believe, if you build it and it don’t fall apart and will outlast me and you, then yes, people will buy your products.
Why did you build www.northrusticdesign.com?
-It seemed to make sense as our business operating name is North Rustic Design llc. Also, people we getting concerned about our last website www.crateland.com because they thought we were going crate crazy! So when we answer the phone “Crateland North Rustic Design” now you know why.
What was your largest order?
-We have ongoing business relationships with large corporations that total over 20,000+ units a year.
How can you make all these products?
-We staff 4 full-time team members and 2 part time weekend warriors that make sure we are producing crates and boxes 7 days a week! We also have partnered with a packaging company for large orders shipped to directly to 1000’s of your retail locations or to have products individually boxed, shipped directly to your warehouses, that allows us to manufacture your products and you to get your products quicker.
Do you do custom wood crates and boxes?
-Our repeat longtime customers and our largest orders are custom wood crates and boxes. Why settle for Point of Purchase Display or wooden crate gift box that kinda works, when you get the exact size and design style you want.
Need a custom color match?
-We deal exclusively with Sherwin Williams for all of our wood stain. We have selected 17 colors, but if you need a custom match, go to your local sherwin-williams and pick your perfect oil based stain color and we are set.
